Alicia Bruce is an accredited Instructor with the Association of International Dance Teachers, choreographer and dance educator for the past 20+ years. She is well versed is in all styles of dance Jazz, Lyrical, Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, Acro, Hip Hop and Musical Theatre with acclaimed teachers and choreographers from across Canada, the US and Europe. Including syllabus work in AIDT modern and tap, Checetti Ballet, ISTD Modern and CDTA Tap and Jazz. She uploads her status as a member of the BC Dance Educators Association. and holds a UBC Bachelor of Arts Major in Psychology.
Teacher intensives with The EDGE in LA, NYCDA, Break the Floor and classes with Dance Masterclasses. Students have gone on to be accepted into programs such as: Alvin Ailey, SUNY Purchase, NYU Tisch, USC Gloria Kaufman, University of Arizona, Arts Umbrella Grad Program, SFU, Les Grands Ballet , Alberta Ballet, and Ballet Kelowna
Students have gone on to continue their passion in dance by partaking in the following: Ballet Bloch, Moulin Rouge, European Dance Companies , Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, Disneyland, Cirque de Soleil, Lamondance, Film and TV productions Alicia’s choreography has been awarded throughout Canada and the USA at competitions such as: NYCDA, JUMP, NUVO and 24/7.
