Lora Roberts began her dance journey at NSAD at the age of five, starting with ballet. What began as a childhood passion quickly grew into a lifelong dedication to the art form. By Grade 8, Lora entered NSAD’s Half Day Training Program, where she immersed herself in all styles of dance, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, and modern, balancing her academic studies with an intensive training schedule through to Grade 12. During this time, she also completed her ISTD Advanced 2 Modern exam, demonstrating her strong commitment to technical excellence and artistry.
Over the years, Lora has performed in countless competitions and showcases, developing not only her technical skills but also her artistry and stage presence. Now, as a teacher of Pre-Ballet, Creative Dance, and Broadway Jazz, she finds joy in nurturing young dancers at the very beginning of their journey. Her goal is to spark imagination, build confidence, and instill a love of movement in her students, just as her teachers did for her.
Lora is thrilled to be part of the NSAD faculty, and she looks forward to guiding the next generation of dancers with warmth, patience, and enthusiasm.
